I'm a homeowner. Can I purchase products on EMOTORSTORE?
Yes, homeowners and do-it-yourselfers are welcome to purchase any of the items listed on our site, but safety and knowledge is always the first priority. If at any time during the removal of your current motor or the installation of your replacement motor, you feel unsure of what you're doing, we highly recommend reaching out to a local professional contractor.
How do I know which replacement motor to use?
It's important to remember that most motors are made for specific applications. There's no single attribute that's most important, they're all important. Start by understanding the application of the motor, then match frame size and motor diameter. Next, match horsepower, RPM, and amp ratings for your input voltage. It's important select a motor with the ventilation style appropriate to the environment where the motor will be mounted. Also, you want to keep a close eye on shaft diameter and rotation.

When will I receive the motors that I ordered?
Most orders are delivered within 5 business days of the date the order was placed. Factors considered when determining the expected delivery date are whether it ships from our warehouse or direct from the manufacturer, the time of day the order was placed, and where the item is being delivered. We use both UPS and FedEx for our shipping services and expedited service is always available.
I ordered the wrong motor. Can I return it?
When EMOTORSTORE was first launched in 1999, we knew it was important to make the purchasing process as pain free as possible. Mistakes happen and we completely understand. We accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date.
All returned items must be unused, unmodified and in their original box. Unfortunately, we're not able to accept returned products that have been mounted, powered up, or have been modified in any way. The simple rule of thumb is to eyeball it before your install it.
Can I pick up my order from a Dreisilker branch location?
EMOTORSTORE and Dreisilker Electric Motors are run as two different business operations and branch pick-up is not an option. EMOTORSTORE orders must be placed online or over the phone and all packages must be delivered via UPS or FedEx.
